Zorra Rosé is an organic Austrian wine made entirely from Zweigelt grapes, produced by Weingut Anita & Hans Nittnaus in Burgenland's Neusiedlersee region.
The 2022 vintage began with a dry spring, resulting in small, concentrated grape clusters. Harvested manually, the grapes underwent spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks and were bottled without fining or filtration.
This rosé features a bright pomegranate red hue with vibrant reflections. Its aroma profile includes notes of sour cherries, pomegranate, green and red apples, rosehip, and red fruit tea, with subtle hints of juniper, kaffir lime leaves, and blackberry bushes, adding a spicy and ethereal touch.
On the palate, it is wild, taut, cool, and juicy, with low alcohol content (11.0% ABV). This contemporary rosé is both pithy and approachable, making it a fantastic choice for modern wine lovers.
It pairs wonderfully with dishes like roasted chicken thighs with pumpkin, feta, and honey; braised celeriac with hazelnut-parsley pesto; or oven-roasted rabbit with harissa and couscous salad.
