Soleil de Coulaine Rosé AOP 2023 is an organic wine from France's Loire Valley, produced by Château de Coulaine. This rosé is crafted exclusively from Cabernet Franc grapes grown on gravelly-sandy soils near the riverbank, emphasizing a fruit-forward profile.
In the glass, it displays a pale salmon hue. The nose offers aromas reminiscent of red apple skins, wild strawberries, cherries, and ripe peach, complemented by subtle notes of damp stone and lichen.
On the palate, Soleil de Coulaine is lively and juicy, with flavors of orchard and stone fruits, hints of bitter blood orange zest, and red currants. It features a gentle tannic structure, vibrant acidity, and a harmonious balance that enhances its approachability.
