Winemaker of the year 2015 at Falstaff, Vinum Rotweinpreis, Best dry Riesling etc. The awards for the Kühling-Gillot winery are piling up. Even under father Roland Gillot, the winery was one of the best in Rheinhessen. With the entry of the daughter Carolin, fresh air came into the house, and at the latest since the marriage with H. O. Spaniards catapulted the winery to the top of Rhine Hesse or even Germany. Carolin and her husband switched to ecological management with biodynamic elements. Carolin Gillot draws on an extraordinary location potential. Not only around Bodenheim, where excellent red wines and the manor wines grow. In particular, the terroir on the Red Slope is world class, and here the winery has shares in the best locations, such as Rothenberg, Pettenthal or Hipping.
